FAQ

What should I bring?

It is recommended that you bring a bathing suit, a change of clothes, a towel, sandals, sunscreen, insect repellent and a camera to capture the stunning imagery!

Can I see the Monkeys?

You can observe the monkeys from the boat. Since November 2025, landing on Monkey Island is not allowed for safety reasons. We now anchor in front of the island instead for a relaxing break. You're welcome to swim around the boat, or even to the island and enjoye the scenary.

Please note that the monkeys are wild animals. We recommend not interacting with them: do not try to pet, chase or feed them. You may see other visitors doing so, but it is unsafe and not advised. If you have food with you, they may try to grab it. Any interaction with the monkeys is at your own risk.

Will I get wet while kayaking?

You might get a little wet during kayaking, mainly on your lower body. You can wrap a towel or waterproof jacket around your legs if you wish to stay dry.

Do you provide drinks and snacks on the tour?

Lunch or dinner is provided depending on the tour, with traditional local food and vegetarian options. A bottle of water is included. Pop, beer, additional water, and snacks are available for purchase.

Do you provide vegetarian options?

Yes, the lunch or dinner provided is vegetarian-friendly!

How visible is the bioluminescence?

The brightness of the bioluminescence changes daily and mainly depends on the season. The plankton is always present, but visibility varies. It is often difficult to capture in photos, but it is a magical experience to witness in person!
